Claire Reynes is a Chicago artist, papermaker, and educator. Her artmaking practice involves handmade paper and papermaking components including pulp painting and image transfers, as a base upon which she builds, image with drawing and sewing. Claire currently teaches art full time at Mark Twain Elementary. She is also a teaching artist at Marwen and facilitates workshops for teachers, youth, and adults in the Chicago area.
