To stimulate and nurture collaborative work between teachers and arts education partners, Ingenuity and the CPS Department of Arts Education are excited to present this year’s Arts Education Conference: Collaborating for Quality.
In this session, participants will experience Red Clay Dance Company's creative process, a collaborative effort that allows participants to own their learning process. Participants will help our "Teaching Artivist" plan a lesson through a structured discussion. After the lesson is planned, participants will play the role of the student, seeing their plan administered by our Teaching Artivist. Following the lesson, participants will reflect on the experience and be able to ask questions about the process.
