This workshop will focus on using dance as a means to learn about and discuss cultures around the world and cultures experienced at home. Through the South African Gumboot Dance, participants will learn and experience how to assess student strengths, how to guide students through the choreographic process, and how to incorporate social-emotional learning and culture into dance instruction.
