In this yoga and meditation workshop, which has been presented at the CPS Arts Conference for the last two years, many meditative mindfulness techniques, concepts, and practices will be introduced. The Sanskrit terms "Chinta" & "Chitta" (meaning "worry and the source of it") will be discussed. The techniques presented will give participants tools to relieve stressful work-day situations. They can be utilized in a group or individual setting to maintain calm and focus and encourage health and holistic well-being. The extended yoga class to follow will be a gentle "Yin"-oriented experience, suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced.
