This session helps participants push for a 100% pass rate in AP 2-D Art with students who have limited to no formal art training. Participants will engage in discussion of creating a classroom environment that promotes inquiry and exploration of breadth and concentration using artistic behaviors. They will explore big ideas and topical issues (Racism, Sexism, Gender, LGBTQ, Disability, and Mental Illness) through Visual Culture in Socratic Circles and learn how this can help promote exploration of the AP concentration for a student new to the art room.
