Dance and theatre programs often begin in spaces created for other purposes. It can be intimidating to think about 'creating' a space for movement in a shared or unused classroom, but with a clear, informed plan and a few inexpensive supplies, any space can be transformed into a movement-friendly room. Workshop participants will create their own 'movement makeover' plans for their schools/classrooms using a mix of 2D planning and 3D modeling tools. Class notes include cost estimates and sourcing suggestions for all recommended supplies.
